PHOTOGRAPHY HIGH FIVE – JANUARY 24, 2020
Earlier this week I finally got a photo posted from a trip last August to Thailand. It shouldn’t have taken me nearly five months to share one, but it was one that I really wanted to get perfect. I’m hoping today I’ll get to spend some time playing around with perspectives using a zoom lens. It’s something I’ve never really played around with but I’m interested to try out so I can learn another technique. Finally, you really have to take a look at the first link…
- If you don’t look at anything else on this list be sure to look at this one. A local photographer/blogger named Andy Luten caught the Northern Lights out of his window Wednesday night on flight from DFW to LHR. He’s also got some pretty great travel photography as well.
- Last weekend I stumbled across a B&H lecture I hadn’t watched and was blown away about what I learned about lighting.
- As I mentioned, I wanted to get out and experiment with perspectives. That idea pretty much stemmed from this weeks r/photoclass2020 lesson.
- Speaking of camera lenses and focal lengths, here’s a video I found on reddit about 3 Different Camera Lenses.
