PHOTOGRAPHY HIGH FIVE – DECEMBER 20, 2019
I spent a little time this week editing some Iceland photos, and I’ve got one posted at the end of this post! Only what feels like a hundred more to go…. Unfortunately that’s all I’ve had time to finish editing as I had to take care of booking some future travel plans. As expected, here are five links I found interesting this week:
- The Atlantic posted an article with their pic for the Photos of the Decade.
- I found the photo from the previous link of the northern lights with the Eyjafjallajokull Volcano to be particularly interesting because it shows how far camera technology has come in the past 10 years. Mostly in terms of the amount of noise and quality in long exposure night photos.
- Here’s a video explaining the latest Nikon Firmware 2.20 update.
- Since it’s almost Christmas, I figured this one might be interesting to share. It’s a video of Four Modern Christmas Portrait Ideas.
- Finally, for the electronics nerds like myself, here’s an article on the disassembly and teardown of a Sony A7R IV.
